Submitting a Genome Technology Center Service Request

Service requests or equipment reservations to NYU Langone’s Genome Technology Center are managed through the iLab platform (Kerberos ID and password required for login).

Creating a Service Request

Login to iLab, then select “Genomics Technology Core.” Next, select the “Request Services” tab and click on the “Request Service” button next to the service of interest. You may be asked to complete a form before submitting the request. We review your request and either agree to the work or ask for more information, if needed.

Please note the following:

  • NYU and NYU College of Dentistry users are asked to provide payment information in the following format: Business Unit, Fund, Unit number, Department ID, Program, and Project. Example: SOM01-11-A-79001-43770-NYUPRJ.
  • External users enter a PO number.
  • NYU Langone users choose the chartfield that they want the service charged to. If there are no chartfields to choose, your principal investigator, lab manager, or department administrator can assign one for you.

Creating an Equipment Reservation

Login to iLab, then select “Genomics Technology Core.” Next, select the “Schedule Equipment” tab and click on the “View Schedule” button next to the instrument of interest. Click and drag on the time frame during which you would like to schedule your reservation.

A window will pop up for you to verify your reservation’s details and provide payment information before saving the reservation.
