Luis Chiriboga, Ph.D., received his Associate degree in Histotechnology from the State University of New York, Cobleskill and was certified by the ASCP Board of Registry as a histologist in 1987. In 1992 Luis received a Bachelor's degree, and in 1997 his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the City University of New York Graduate School. He began employment at NYU in 1987, and has worked in several anatomical histopathology laboratories at the medical center since that time. In 1998, with Dr. Herman Yee, Luis started the immunohistochemistry/histopathology core laboratory for the NYU Cancer Institute.
