The Vaccine and Cell Therapy Core Laboratory is a highly specialized facility which supports investigators to translate promising laboratory results into clinical trials in human subjects.
Our main objectives are:
- To manufacture, handle and store vaccines, cellular therapies, biologics and microbial vectors/therapies in a dedicated clean, controlled space in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- To develop and offer sophisticated immune monitoring assays to measure patients’ responses to vaccination
- To support basic human immunology research through the synthesis of advanced reagents such as fluorescent labeled peptide-MHC multimers and through access to advanced equipment including 18-color flow cytometer, ELISPOT reader, and Luminex 200 analyzer.
