Rachel Brody, MD, PhD, Director, Human Specimen Resource Center
Rachel Brody, MD, PhD joined the faculty of NYULMC in September 2011 as the director of the Human Specimen Resource Center. As the former president of Molecular Perspectives Inc., she brings extensive experience in strategic planning for products related to a variety of disease-related areas, including oncology (breast, colorectal, and prostate cancers, melanoma, lymphoma and leukemia, and supportive care), viral diseases (hepatitis and AIDS), and diabetes mellitus. Dr. Brody received her MD and PhD at NYU School of Medicine and specialized in experimental and molecular pathology.
In her role as the director of the Human Specimen Resource Center, Dr. Brody will support the NYULMC faculty in acquiring, processing and utilizing human biospecimens, and facilitating translational research. Dr. Brody may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
